Saved On Sunday is like a modern day clash of good old fashioned rock ‘n roll and blues. Fans of all ages have drawn a variety of comparisons of the band’s music to everything from Elvis Presley to the Rolling Stones and from Creed to Stevie Ray Vaughan and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Produced by Gary S. Paxton (8 time grammy award winning songwriter/artist/producer), the Iowa based band introduces its new four piece configuration in which rhythm guitarist/lead vocalist Daniel Brown and bass guitarist phenomenon/backup vocalist Clinton Marker are joined with lead guitarist Sean Herrick and drummer Adan Johnson. Each member has their own unique history of musical experience and diversity that leads to an incredibly intriguing sound for Saved On Sunday.

The musical genre of SOS is all over the place and unconventional. Once you think you’ve got them figured out with their hard hitting rock ‘n roll energetic “fastballs,” they completely switch it up and throw you an absolute “curveball” and try to melt your heart with an emotionally driven ballad or worship oriented song. “There’s nothing worse for me than listening to an entire album and feeling like I just listened to the same song for 45 minutes,” said Marker regarding the band’s musical diversions. “We try to really mix it up and give you a lot of different looks and moods to keep it fresh. Whether we’re straight up charging you with tempo and energy, laying down the funky fresh, ripping the blues or slowing it down for a more deep and serious emotion, we try to do it with its own individual sound.”

Saved On Sunday has made a name for themselves regionally as a refreshingly unorthodox and energetic Christian rock ‘n roll band that all ages can enjoy. Drawing from a variety of musical influences from the “good ole’ days of rock ‘n roll” while presenting it with a modern edge and tone, SOS has seemingly bridged the generational gap for fans across the Midwest. All geared up and ready to rock ‘n roll
stages around the world, Saved On Sunday is ready to stake its claim in today’s Christian music scene....
